We, INVIOS GmbH, the Institute for Wealth Preservation & Asset Management, take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal and individual data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations as well as this Privacy Policy.

(1) Below, we provide information regarding the collection of personal data when you use our website. Personal data refers to any data that can be personally attributed to you, e.g., name, address, email addresses, and user behavior.

(3) When you contact us via email or through a contact form, we will store the data you provide (your email address, your name if applicable, your phone number, or your ZIP code and city) in order to answer your questions. Only the information in the required fields is necessary to process your inquiry. Additional information is voluntary. We will delete the data collected in this context once storage is no longer necessary, or restrict its processing if statutory retention obligations apply.

(4) If we use third-party service providers for certain features of our service or wish to use your data for marketing purposes, we will provide you with detailed information about the respective processes below. We will also specify the criteria for the retention period.

(1) You have the following rights with respect to the personal data we hold about you:

§ 3 Collection of Personal Data When Visiting Our Website

(1) When you use the website solely for informational purposes—that is, if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information—we collect only the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. f) Use of Flash cookies within the “Portfolio View” tool. The Flash cookies used are not tracked by your browser but by your Flash plug-in. We also use HTML5 storage objects, which are stored on your device. These objects store the necessary data regardless of the browser you use and do not have an automatic expiration date. If you do not wish to have Flash cookies processed, you must install an appropriate add-on, such as “Better Privacy” for Mozilla Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/) or the Adobe Flash Killer Cookie for Google Chrome. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by using private browsing mode in your browser. We also recommend that you regularly delete your cookies and browser history manually.

§ 4 Additional Features and Services on Our Website

(1) In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you may use if you are interested. To do so, you will generally need to provide additional personal data, which we use to provide the respective service and to which the aforementioned data processing principles apply.

(2) In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, and are regularly monitored.

(3) Furthermore, we may disclose your personal data to third parties if we offer contracts or similar services jointly with partners. You will receive more detailed information on this when you provide your personal data.

§ 5 Conclusion of Contracts Online

(1) If you wish to conclude a contract via our website, you are required to provide the personal data we need to process the transaction. The mandatory information required for contract processing is marked separately; additional information is optional. We process the data you provide for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. As part of the application processing or policy issuance, we may share your data with the respective product partner. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

We may also process the data you provide to inform you about other interesting products in our portfolio or to send you emails containing technical information.

(2) We are required by commercial and tax law to store your address, payment, and order data for a period of ten years. However, after three years, we restrict the processing of your data, meaning it will be used solely to comply with legal obligations.

(3) To prevent unauthorized access by third parties to your personal data, particularly financial data, the order process is encrypted using TLS technology.

§ 6 Objection or Withdrawal of Consent to the Processing of Your Data

(1) If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you may withdraw it at any time. Such a withdrawal affects the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data after you have notified us of it.

(2) To the extent that we base the processing of your personal data on a balancing of interests between your interest in anonymity and our interest in using the data you have provided, you may object to this processing. This is the case, in particular, if the processing is not necessary for the performance of a contract with you, as we will explain in the following description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, we ask that you explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we currently do. In the event of a justified objection, we will review the situation and either cease or adjust the data processing, or explain to you our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we will continue the processing.

§ 7 Web Analytics, Use of Piwik

1. This website uses the web analytics service Piwik to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offerings and make them more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of Piwik is Art. 6(1), sentence 1, lit. f of the GDPR.

2. Cookies (see § 3 for more details) are stored on your computer for this analysis. The controller stores the information collected in this manner exclusively on its server in Germany. You can opt out of this analysis by deleting existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. Please note that if you prevent the storage of cookies, you may not be able to use this website to its full extent. You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings. § 8 Social Media

1. Use of Shariff Social Media Buttons

(1) “Shariff” replaces the standard share buttons of social networks and protects your browsing activity. Standard social media buttons transmit user data every time a page is loaded and provide social networks with detailed information about your browsing behavior (user tracking). You do not need to be logged in or a member of the network for this to occur. In contrast, a Shariff button only establishes direct contact between the social network and the visitor once the latter actively clicks the share button. For more information, visit www.heise.de.

(2) You can identify the provider of the respective social media plugin by the label on the box, which displays the provider’s initial letter or logo. We provide you with the option to communicate directly with the plugin provider via the button. Only when you click on the marked field and thereby activate it will the plugin provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. In addition, the data specified in Section 3 of this statement will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing, according to the respective providers, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection in Germany. By activating the plugin, your personal data is therefore transmitted to the respective plugin provider and stored there (in the case of U.S. providers, in the United States). Since the plugin provider collects data primarily via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser’s security settings before clicking on the grayed-out box.

(3) We have no influence over the data collected or the data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing, or the retention periods. We also have no information regarding the deletion of the collected data by the plugin provider.

(4) The plugin provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses this data for advertising, market research, and/or to tailor its website to your needs. Such analysis is carried out in particular (including for users who are not logged in) to display targeted advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website.
